The founder of FERREXPO, the general partner of FC "Vorskla" (Poltava), Konstyantyn Zhevago announced at this extremely difficult time all over the world the allocation of 2.5 million US dollars for the fight against a pandemic of the coronavirus in Poltava region.
The decision on such substantial financial assistance was made by the Board of Directors of the FERREXPO Group of Companies, supported by the main shareholders of the labor collectives and territorial communities of Poltava region and the state as a whole.
First of all, the funds will be used for the purchase of artificial ventilation apparatus, test systems for detecting COVID-19 and all necessary equipment, both for medical institutions of Poltava region and for medical institutions of the whole health care system of Ukraine. Further distribution of assistance will be made according to the needs of the health facilities.
“FERREXPO is providing financial assistance to provide hospitals and health care workers in the cities of Gorishni Plavni, Kremenchuk and Poltava with the necessary equipment and means to treat and prevent the spread of coronavirus in the Poltava region and in Ukraine as a whole, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Health Poltava Regional State Administration and administrations of other regions», - said in FERREXPO release.
