The club was founded on January, 5, 1955 («Kolhospnyk»); the master team – from January, 1957; professional football club – from February, 1989.
Names: «Kolhospnyk» (1955-1964), «Kolos» (1965-67, 73-82), «Silbud» (1968), «Budivelnyk» (1969-1972), «Vorskla» (1984 - 2003), «Vorskla-Naftogaz» (2003 - 2005), «Vorskla».
Colors: white-green.
Stadium: «Vorskla» (25 000 seats), field sizes: 104x68 meters, illumination: 1200 lux.
Achievements:
Owner of the Amateur Cup of Ukraine (1956);
Winner of Ukraine First League Championship (1995/96);
